This thread is a perfect argument for why we should have a TOTM. Congrats to all of you. I kind of want to post pictures of my three tanks but it is a little intimidating following all of you.

For the record, the 24 NC DX pictures I just turned on the lights after lights out so some of the corals aren't all the way out. However, here are my tanks.

First 3 are my 72 bow with 4x54w T-5.
Next is NC DX24 stock lighting.
Last is a JBJ Picotope with 1x24w PC plus the stock 9w PC.

Peer pressure sucks and I hope you guys don't treat me too badly.

ahh see that wasnt too hard, your tanks look really nice! And the coraline in the DX is kickin really sweet! Reminds me of my anemone tank I had, the whole tank was crazy colored with pinks and purples from the mass amounts of coraline.

Yeah, the DX had been established for around 3 years so the coralline is all over the place. It is actually pretty hard to keep up with scraping which is why it is not looking so great. The other two are under a year. One has urchins which keeps the coralline in line and the pico is just starting to get it.

this is my 29 biocube. just broke down a tank and decided to put most stuff i want to keep in this. not happy with the color of the stock bulbs and the pics are bad! planning on adding a quad 96w pc bulb into the hood!!!

Here's my tank in February. I've had a bryopsis outbreak, so I don't have any new pics. I'll post them once my Lettuce Nudibranch does his thing. I've also switched a couple of things around and changed to a 250w halide with 192w PC's fixture, so it'll look a little different in the next pictures. It's a 44 gallon flat back hexagon tank.

keep your calcium levels up, I have a lot of coraline algea but I also keep my ca at 440 and alk at 4 meq/l. Another good way to start it up is dose purple up.
