ok so i have a large green digitata colony that got stung by a pink proclavinaria on a small spot a few days ago and now its necrosed a section equivelant to an xl frag (5-6 branchs about 4 inches tall) im going to break off the affected area when i get home from work but my question is do you think that i will have to worry about the stn continuing on the currently unaffected area after i break away the dead area?

that sucks but if i do lose the colony i have two medium frags in the sump so i can just start over.

Be lucky it's slow and not fast. Just make some frags out of the piece if you can. I try to go at least 1/2" up from the dying tissue if possible.
