Unusual Acclimation Concern

I have a chance to pick up a clam I've been looking for for some time. Unfortunately.....I recently did the Kent Tech-M treatment on my tank from a patch of bryopsis that showed up on a new addition so my MG is sitting at 1650. The clam is coming from a tank with depressed MG levels of 900-1000. During my Tech-M treatment.....my clams seemed completely unaffected but I fear hurting my new specimen. Any advice??? Extended drip, don't worry about it, walk away from the deal???

If you went ahead & paid for the clam could they hold it until your water gets back to normal?
