Yes these are really cool. And bright.
We'll see how they grow

The tank is 20 gallon so all in, with the shelf I think I am around 210 lbsWeight and maybe tipping over when extended
Yep and I feel like I do it often in this hobby! Oh well, learning momentsPhew! I figured you thought of that with all the detail in that layout but wanted to help in case there was a slightest chance of oversight. We all do it.

Finally tackled the mess of wires coming from the tank and got my hospital tank all set up.
I am completely out of space over here so I had to get creative. Turned into a fun project!

That’s neat, what’s the slider rated for?
Supposedly 500lbs... I am about to find out for sure lolThat’s neat, what’s the slider rated for?

I am going to pull the tank off the drawer and throw about 200 lbs of weights on there. Good suggestion!I'd fill it with sand or something solid before filling it with a liquid and doing a weight test.
That is a good point. I will have to be careful when doing water changes. Also have a tight fitting lid to avoid bubbling/splashing. My hope is that because it is only a hospital tank, it won't get too much use. Fingers crossed on that oneit would be interesting to see how it lasts overtime from all the water change/wear-tear. i thought about this some time ago when i was building my stand but because it's saltwater i decided to go against it.
