was pretty much set on the Deltec AP851 but now im kind of leery...how do the euro-reef recircs match up against the deltecs and Das?

i dont think they are as good the aquabee is a much better pump and it is more reliable

LOL dont be. Basically it comes down to how much money you want to spend. You cant go wrong with many of the skimmers out there. The one that kwl1763 posted about is a good skimmer but will cost you around $1300. The Mako skimmers are hand made with better materials for less and gives you options to better suit your system requirements. Something the Reeflo's just dont offer.

Hers a link to the Reeflo skimmer.....

They do and so does Euroreef. Look at how much a replacement pump cost for either of those skimmers. Its downright Scary:eek:

ok so my list right now is between the Deltec AP851, Reeflo Orca, DAS-EX3, and Mako. Any others i should consider?

I hear about bubbleking alot and the skimmers look amazing but i can never find a price or retailer.....

Get this one so I can come over to your house and drool a bit. LOL Could you Imagine spending $8400 on a skimmer?

$8,394.00

Good lord, those are expensive. But already paying 1200-1400 why not go for the best of the best hahaha. I dont know if this can be justified.

This skimmer would be pretty cool for your system....It would be like having the Bentley of the skimmer world........http://www.aquariumspecialty.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=34_136&products_id=2197">Bubble King Supermarin 250 Internal</a>
$1,659.00

I was lookin at that one as well....the BKs look kinda small though are they a little more compact than others? what about the minis how would they work....

Dont they use some expensive red dragon pump? Im assuming at that price it comes with the pump lol....

I would think that the Minis even the 200 are a bit small for your system. I think the SuperMarin or the 200 external/internal would be about as small as you could get away with.
