I am just about finished with this long war, luckily, I'm winning...
I have an ULNS.
I tried Algae fix (killed some other green hair-like algae)
I tried Kent Tech-M (killed most of it, however after 60 days at 2200 there was still some left, barely thriving....but enough to come back)
I wiped it out with 3% H2O2, and then as patches appeared a few times a week, I used a mixture of 3% H2O2 & kalk-Mrs. Wages Pickling Lime which at this point has done it in 99.99999%......I still get a cluster now and then that I paste.
I know it cannot be 100% determined here as to a specific species, however, some great guesses would be appreciated!
(I know...I have this posted also at rc....:tongue
Since July or so I battling this crap....looks like it's about a done deal now....
what SPECIES is your best educated guess?
looks like a type of Bryopsis on the close up photo down the page here:
