I am just about finished with this long war, luckily, I'm winning...

I have an ULNS.
I tried Algae fix (killed some other green hair-like algae)
I tried Kent Tech-M (killed most of it, however after 60 days at 2200 there was still some left, barely thriving....but enough to come back)
I wiped it out with 3% H2O2, and then as patches appeared a few times a week, I used a mixture of 3% H2O2 & kalk-Mrs. Wages Pickling Lime which at this point has done it in 99.99999%......I still get a cluster now and then that I paste.

I know it cannot be 100% determined here as to a specific species, however, some great guesses would be appreciated!
(I know...I have this posted also at rc....)

Since July or so I battling this crap....looks like it's about a done deal now....

what SPECIES is your best educated guess?

looks like a type of Bryopsis on the close up photo down the page here:

it was still alive! lol

PLEASE POST YOUR GUESS WITH A LINK OR PHOTO IF YOU HAVE!

Thanks!

Dang Ralph, you are sure having a battle with that stuff.

What test kits are you using to measure phosphate?

Looks like an evil form of bryopsis.

sorry, that's a pic from December!

I mean, you were just here? right! lol...it's all good, and 99.99999999999% gone & 100% in control.....:whistling:

I was just wanting some more info if possible! I beat it...but everything failed except H2O2......

I didn't know if a patch was starting to come back on you since I had been there.

Youve had bryopsis before, right? Did it look different before?

When I had it, the "feather" didn't go up the entire stalk.

I'd like to be 99% sure that IT WAS BRYOPSIS....and maybe species...

Edit:

2 things:
I'm just curious
and, I found a cure if Tech M doesn't work
(I found, meaning I ran into info while resaerching on another site....not the "I invented" at all..lol)

i have no idea, but must say. if you were to find some miniature ornaments, you could have yourself a really nice christmas tree tank :D
