RO/DI unit on the market? I'm looking for a 100 GPD unit, with dual (incoming and outgoing) TDS meter. Any thoughts or suggestions? I would love to get your feedback and what you have loved and hated. Please share.

FYI- I do also plan to tap this into the cold-side of my water heater.

they're all basically plastic housing, what's important are the filters you buy. and if you're making a wish list put a pressure gauge on there...lol

I love my SpectraPure 90gpd unit with a presure guage. There is no TDS meter included, though. I purchased a TDS separately.

It is very strong (pumps water from my laundry room, through my attic, and down into my sump closet without a booster), consistent, and doesn't leak. I've done well over 1,000 gallons, and still reading 0 TDS.

Only drawback is that most of the unit is made out of plastic. It's a very durable unit, but I would've perfered aluminum, or some type of coated metal...

Good info guys! Keep it coming.

I was looking at the AquaFX Barricuda... Anyone ever used there product?

I bought the a generic one at eauction. There are only a few membrane manufacturers. You pick you membrane type.
Get only canister filters as prefilters. Stay away from inline ones.
TFC needs a carbon prefilter. Chlorine damages TFC
Cellulose needs a carbon canister filter after. microbial growth damages cellulose. Chlorine prevents the growth.
Cant have too much pre filter. 150 microns canister.
Get a a servo valve shutoff valve.
And a bypass washing valve.
I spent just over 120 for three canister 75 gph membrane bypass valve, servo valve and two canisters.
TFC canisters 200micron PreF 100micron prefilter -membrane- carbon, DI,DI
Cellulose canisters 200micron ,100 micron, carbon,-membrane- DI, DI
as a guide

Edit:

One of our sponsors sells tem, air, water and ice, then you can buy a dual inline TDS meter or they might have an option to add one. Haven't had any issues with mine after a few hundred gallons ran thru it. Check the sponsor thread for discount coupon.

Bulk Reef Supply 5 stage w/dual TDS "AND" also included the shutoff solenoid "andddd" a pressure gauge, just saying!

+1 to the brs one i think their 5 stage is only 75 gpd but that 25 gallons wont kill you and besides with good filters and high pressure you might actually get more than 75 out of it. and if not theres always the second membrane upgrade to make it 150 gpd.

Thanks for speaking aquarineze LOL! However, I'll be sure to get servo shutoff valve and the bypass washing valve.

I was looking at the AquaFX RO/DI units and they seem use "high quality" filters. All the units somewhat look the same, what are the "in-line" filters you speak of (link please)?

Heath your not making it any better lol. Tiny update, we're building the secret door within the week for the fish room and from there I'll be good to go! Just got to get my water storage container and my mixing container and I'll FINALLY be ready to dive in!

Edit: Is everyone boosting on the BRS units because thats what everyone is familiar with???

+1 SpectraPure but you can buy whatever and use SpectraPure's filters (read about them).
Air Water and Ice is good but you need 65 PSI at the very least for some reason with their units.

Thanks for the additional info.

Exactly what I'm using. My water pressure is so low I added a booster pump. Although it's advertised at 75GPD, I think it's more than that, but I haven't actually measured.

0 TDS out of the DI.

Here is a thread where I set my RODI up:
