I bought the a generic one at eauction. There are only a few membrane manufacturers. You pick you membrane type.
Get only canister filters as prefilters. Stay away from inline ones.
TFC needs a carbon prefilter. Chlorine damages TFC
Cellulose needs a carbon canister filter after. microbial growth damages cellulose. Chlorine prevents the growth.
Cant have too much pre filter. 150 microns canister.
Get a a servo valve shutoff valve.
And a bypass washing valve.
I spent just over 120 for three canister 75 gph membrane bypass valve, servo valve and two canisters.
TFC canisters 200micron PreF 100micron prefilter -membrane- carbon, DI,DI
Cellulose canisters 200micron ,100 micron, carbon,-membrane- DI, DI

Thanks for speaking aquarineze LOL! However, I'll be sure to get servo shutoff valve and the bypass washing valve.
I was looking at the AquaFX RO/DI units and they seem use "high quality" filters. All the units somewhat look the same, what are the "in-line" filters you speak of (link please)?
