I haven't had it interact w corals yet, but it does move a wide column of water + it's quiet = I like it so far

Looks great Brandon!

There's a nice light for $85 with Actinic's on Drygoods right now!

I've got a Radion in the middle of my 14k Phonics and getting great growth!
The Radion has nice blues, moon lighting and I supplement the sides with Panorama Pro's blue. Of course I've got a canopy on my rimless :)
Love the sump, I Want a sexy sump like that!
What kind of sand did you go with?
Oh, you put a fish in that uncycled tank?? Shame on you!

tank = cycled :)

I have an update to lighting this weekend. Should be interesting

Well I added lights and some coral today. Here we go

I'm currently pondering how to add some t5 to this.
The L bar construction is kinda like Legos so I'll come up w something I'm sure

I think your on the right path about adding you t5s.I don't know anything about those leds, but i see a lot of folks use on RC

For the price I couldn't resist a try

man im shocked you went with led's although i still think you should have went with radions :tongue:. in that first pic with the leds i thought you did go with radions and i smiled and thought "my man" then i saw the next pic and the smile went away and i started shaking my head side to side. and debbie's right that is a very sexy sump

as far as adding t5's though i think the easiest way would be to make a rectangular frame out of aluminum channel thats big enough for the leds to fit inside and then mount some diy t5 end caps to each side and suspend it from the same thing you have the leds suspended from. id probably go with 36", i think that would be enough to supplement that tank evenly enough. you would have 6" not covered on each side but i doubt you'd notice

And now you can say you are back in the reefing game.

Welcome back

(yes, the Wecome Back Kotter theme song was playing in mind as I typed this)
