Pretty apex display and the gyre control on the front.

Taking a HUGE chance w these lights. But, I had to try them

Also.... Having been running a while now... I'm not disappointed in this Octo skimmer. It does do a pretty decent job for what I need right now.
I'm pleasantly surprised

So, I'm still organizing.... Getting things set and dialed in, but I'm hoping this will be a good system over time.

The only thing I'm really concerned ab is the lighting. That being said I know I can always drop the LED spend 700$ and get a ati T5:/

Wow Brandon you've come along way since I've checked in, looks great!
Got your Apex going WHOO HOO!
I've got the same skimmer, only issue I've got is it reacts with zealous micro bubbles and over flows with a few chemicals I like (phosguard, etc) but I guess most do!

What did you cut the rock with? Love it!

So ... Now I'm obsessed w adding mh to this thing. I can hang a pendant in the middle that would light the middle 2' of the tank ...3 hrs a day, then angle the leds so that they cover the middle the rest of the time.....

OR, I could diy a few leds of missing spectrum IMO, and place them on both ends and the middle w extra wide optics...

So fun to be back!

Wish it was free haha

Frag pics
These are taken almost NO BLUE, so the color isn't stunning, but at least it doesn't look like a LED pic;)
